Who is EquipmentFX

Steve Smith
Equipment FX was founded by Steve Smith, a former Vice President/General Manager of Johnson Machinery, a Caterpillar and Hyster forklift dealer, a dealership and company that was always at the leading edge of profitability, performance and studied as a “best practice” dealership. Steve has managed all operating departments, knows the dealership game. He is a self-professed marketing and equipment junkie with a serious operations bent and loves marketing THE RIGHT WAY. He was also a two-term chairman of Hyster Company’s Dealer Marketing Council, and spoke extensively about database management, marketing automation and increasing awareness. He believes that done right, it is a huge driver of awareness increase, leads, conversions, sales and profits. He has the track record and evidence to back up that claim. He also loves doing crazy stuff outdoors to cook up new ideas.
Steve formed a partnership with William Craig, President of WebpageFX, currently ranked in the TOP 15 GLOBALLY by TopSEO, for Search Engine Optimization and Website design. William’s forward leaning approach to information and technology, how to develop custom applications, and websites that outlast the constantly changing browsers are literally some of the best in the world. His background in finance, information management and working for the Department of Defense as a Portal Architect have given him a unique understanding of processes, efficiencies, programming, scalability and results.
Together, it is a lethal combination of experience that results in a unique dealer program that will make you the first to be found, thought of, respond and best at managing the information from start to close.
